God Loves Daddy & Me by Bonnie Rickner Jensen


This short little book by Bonnie Rickner Jensen has colorful illustrations and reads in a rhyming fashion. It is a board book, so little fingers can easily turn the pages, whether they are reading it or just looking at those beautiful pictures. 

There are a few key lines I REALLY like, like Daddy's making his child feel safe and about forgiveness but otherwise, I'm honestly not a big fan of the writing. I wish it was more story based instead of random things between a father and child that rhyme and God's love for them. I love that the emphasis is on God loving what they do together, but otherwise not so much. I really wouldn't buy this book, though it is "cute" as my husband and son say.

Sometimes one day in our life is just what we need to keep on moving forward. A little inspiration, encouragement and hope entering into our sometimes dismal worlds. Today just happened to be one of those days for me. My family and I went on a short hike at a new park my husband found. We climbed up steep hills meant for mountain bikes and followed small trails intended for wild animals. We were able to explore the woods and enjoy God's beautiful world and enjoy the peace and serenity only that can bring. My First Giveaway!

Enter To Win! With 2015 finally here, a lot of us have resolutions to make our lives better! Many of us would like to lose weight or quit smoking. I see a lot of fitness goals as well.
