I Love You To The Moon And Back

Image
This necklace is just beautiful in my opinion. I received this in perfect timing, seeing as Adora's what would have been due date is in a few days and I will wear it daily! The saying is so simple, yet so heart-felt, which makes it that much more special.  I love how you can flip it either way because the writing is on both sides. This is perfect for just everyday use, seeing as if it flipped while wearing you would still see the writing. But it is also perfect for those who are left handed! I know I have struggled with necklaces made for those who are left-handed and I would think the feeling would be mutual. The necklace is made of silver alloy and is very good quality. As you can see, the print is really attractive as well and easy to read. The chain is 23.6 inches and fits nicely! The chain is also adjustable so you can shorten it slightly. The gift box it comes in is very pretty,

Getting Crafty

Image
So I don't have time to do crafts often and when I do them, they usually need to be quick! My time alone (or with Lawrence) at night is precious to me. I saw this craft on Facebook and thought it was a great idea for a Valentine gift for Lawrence! Here is what I did: I took a wooden frame and took the glass out of it. You could also use a shadow box but I only wanted to use items I had at home already. I went on my computer and using Word, I created the font I wanted and printed the background on white, glossy photo paper. I took my crafting glue and glued the spoons on the paper and then put them into the picture frame and voila! Cute gift done in a jiffy. The two spoons hanging next to it were Benjamin's gift to Lawrence for Valentine's day. He wanted my spoons but I didn't have more so I gave him his old baby spoons and he wrapped them with the batman Valentine's he created, one for himself and one for Lawrence. Too cute. Just thought I would sh

Don't Let The Sun Go Down.....

Image
I am sure the majority of my readers have heard the scripture I am referring to in the title. This verse is found at Ephesians 4:26 and reads: " In your anger do not sin. Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry." NIV Clarification! It does not tell us to not get angry. We all get angry. In fact, I used to be a very angry person. Just ask some of the people who knew me in my early 20's. I probably wasn't even pleasant to be around because I carried wounds and didn't let them go. It made me an extremely angry and bitter person. When I self reflect I can see how I have changed that and how far I have come. See, when Jesus tells us to forgive others, it is not even necessarily for their good, but for ours. The reason we hold onto anger is because it makes us feel more in control of the situation. Also, there are instances in which we feel they do not even deserve forgiveness so we withhold it. In my circumstance, I stayed angry to keep myself s

#RefreshVoxBox

Okay, I absolutely LOVE Influenster because they send me the best products to test out! The latest box I received is the #RefreshVoxBox and it is awesome! In my fab box I received two bags of Beanitos chips (Nacho Cheese and Restaurant Style), Covergirl Ultrasmooth Foundation, L'OCCITANE Shea Butter Light Comforting Cream, Orgain Nutritional Shake coupon for a free shake, a Montagne Jeunesse Face Masque, Skinnygirl Nutrtion Bar, Listerine PocketPak, and DenTek flossers for kids and picks for adults. I'll start with the Beanitos. They are flaky and delicious, though I can tell they are made with beans. But not bad overall. The nacho cheese had a slightly spicy flavor and it was super good! They are Non-GMO which is a HUGE seller for me, gluten free, corn free, no MSG, Certified Kosher, Vegan and high in fiber. They are a perfect replacement for the regular corn chip on the market. Skinnygirl nutrition bars are a delicious snack bar for after a workout, or

Encouragement

One of those days... We all have one of those days. Mine seem to be happening more and more. The sunshine in my darkness was that my mom and nephew were able to visit for this past weekend and it was a wonderful break from the everyday. Being able to take my mom to a great French restaurant for an early birthday celebration (she is a Valentine's baby) and see how far my nephew has come this past year was just amazing. Not to mention I found a beautiful bed set and sheets to match it at Kohl's on clearance for $111 and some change out the door with coupons my mom had!!! So exciting! My bed looks like it came out of a magazine right now! My new dishes are pretty awesome too. So it was a good weekend. Enough about me though. For this post I wanted to challenge you all to do something. Over the past year I have been writing letters of encouragement to a few people as God lays them on my heart or sending a small gift just to show that someone is thinking of them, that
