Premium Zester/Grater Review

This zester/grater really is fantastic! I was absolutely impressed with how well this worked. It looks like it would be a typical grater, but after using a standard one then trying this one out, I won't go back. I actually threw my other one in the garbage! 

This zester is very sharp, so when zesting fruits I would suggest applying light pressure. When using as a grater, it grates very fast. The other day was my husband's birthday and I wanted to make carrot cake cupcakes for him. Well, shredding carrots is annoying and I was using my normal grater, when I remembered I had this! I whipped it out and was glad I did! It shredded the carrots much faster with me doing less work. And the carrots were perfect for a carrot cake!

This also shreds cheese very well! It lightly grates it so it will melt easily.

Obviously, cheese and carrots are not the only things you can use this for. Zesting fruits, grating chocolate and mincing peppers are also great ways to use the Premium Zester/Grater.

And as you can see it is sharp. I went to wash the zester off in the sink and my finger caught the inside metal and cut it. It was only a surface cut, but just so you are aware if you hand wash it. The shield is extremely nice to have and comes with the zester. It just snaps right on to protect both the zester and yourself.
