I LOVE beauty products - in fact, lip products are my absolute favorite. Who doesn't love beautiful, lush lips? You can add a pop of color to anything with the swipe of a wand and it is awesome. Speaking of great products, I was introduced to Red Gate Beauty recently and wanted to share my experience.


Red Gate Beauty sells the patented formulation of LipSense, a lip product that is designed to STAY put. I've tried other products that say they last for so many hours to no avail. They always come off! It is insanely frustrating. The technology behind LipSense is denatured alcohol, which is thinner than water and evaporates immediately. When we hear alcohol we go - WAIT! That's bad for our skin! But this is not Isopropyl achohol (rubbing alcohol), which dries out the skin. Denatured alcohol helps keep LipSense in place, which is why it works so well.

Key Ingredients and Benefits
LipSense Long-Lasting Liquid Lip Color is made of a combination of ingredients. Here are a few key components:
  • Denatured Alcohol: used as a delivery system for the color technology; creates a germ and bacteria-free environment.
  • Paeonia Suffruticosa Root (Tree Peony) Extract: a natural calming plum flower herb.
  • Hypericum Perforatum (St. John’s Wort) Extract: also known as St John’s Wort, a natural herb used to elavate mood and treat depressions.
  • Tilia Cordata (Linden) Flower Extract: a natural flower extract rich in flavonoids and a powerful anti-oxidant.
  • Isodonis Japonicus Extract: Fragrant plant extract that contains terpenes, shown to have medicinal properties to soothe skin.
  • Mica: an earth mineral used to give products sparkle and shine. Titanium Dioxide: an inert earth mineral used as a thickening ingredient and sunscreen in cosmetics. It protects skin from UVA and UVB radiation and is considered to have no risk of skin irritation.*

The wands are soft and make it easy to apply

When applying, do a thin layer on the lips and you will feel a slight tingling sensation. Don't touch the lips together for 10 seconds. You repeat the process three times for the best results. You can also apply their gloss on top for a shiny, lush lip.

I was given the lip color of Cora-Lina and the gloss color Orchid. The gloss goes on clear, but makes lips look so lush! And the color of Cora-Lina on my skin tone was a beautiful peachy pink. The wands make it easy to apply the lip color and gloss and are extremely soft.



I drank my usual coffee, water, and even ate and this lip product stayed on for at least 6 hours then I lost count! Don't mind the dorky picture ;)

Sometimes one day in our life is just what we need to keep on moving forward. A little inspiration, encouragement and hope entering into our sometimes dismal worlds. Today just happened to be one of those days for me. My family and I went on a short hike at a new park my husband found. My First Giveaway!

Enter To Win! With 2015 finally here, a lot of us have resolutions to make our lives better! Many of us would like to lose weight or quit smoking. I see a lot of fitness goals as well.
