Orange Jell-O Fluff

If you follow on Facebook you would have seen that I promised a recipe with some yummy ingredients today! Well look no further! Here is it! One of my favorite Jell-O salads as a kid and perfect for any day or a get together! So tasty!

Here are the ingredients:

  • 1 small box of Orange Jell-O
  • 1-20-oz can crushed pineapple in juice
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1-8oz package cream cheese, softened
  • 1-8oz container of Cool Whip
  • 4 Tablespoons Milk
  • 1-15oz can mandarin oranges
In a small saucepan, dissolve Jell-O, sugar and pineapple with juice over medium heat; about 5-8 minutes. Make sure to stir occassionally. Set this aside. Cream the cream cheese. Add the milk and whisk until smooth and shiny; make sure there are no lumps. Whisk in the Cool Whip until completely combined. Add the Jell-O mixutre and then whisk out the lumps. Put in half the can of drained mandarin oranges and set the remaining aside for garnish. It will be warm and watery looking. Place this in the fridge for two hours. Stir to get the fruit evenly distributed. You can do this a few times though I only did it once. Once it is completely chilled, you can add the rest of the mandarin oranges as a garnish. Chill for at least 6 hours before serving. Enjoy!!
